Writers of Mason: Doug Eyman

"Doug Eyman"

“It’s easy to imagine an audience that likes what’s you’ve written, but that’s not necessarily the audience you’re going to get. You may in fact have an audience that hates what you’re writing about. So how do you convince that person that you’re worthy of being read? How are you going to connect to someone who is initially resistant to even reading what you’re writing about?”

Douglas Eyman is Director of the Ph.D. in Writing and Rhetoric, the M.A. concentration in Professional Writing and Rhetoric (PWR), and the undergraduate Professional Writing Minor at George Mason University.
