“I do a lot of poetry, that’s my focus. In high school, I started doing spoken word poetry, I just went to a lot of open mics, but in 2015, here at George Mason, I took the Forms [of Poetry] class and that’s when I discovered form poetry. Ever since then, I kind of fell in love with all the forms. So since 2015, I set a personal goal to write in all the forms, and I think I’ve done that. Right now, if there’s a form out there and I don’t know it, that’s probably a form I haven’t done.”
